"Delicious sandwiches, quality ingredients, great service! This spot is small, the menu is relatively limited, and the hours make it difficult to recommend as a good dinner spot; but I have no hesitation giving it a five star review. I started with the caprese hot sandwich and then found true love in the tuna. I crave it! This place is a gem if you're into an interesting, hip, to-go sandwich. Yum! After a few more visits; just have to say that the tuna continues to amaze and even when there are two groups in front of me in line I have my sandwich in hand within six or seven minutes. They run a tight ship. Cookies are succulent and mouth-watering."

"I am enjoying the bacon and tomato grilled cheese. It normally comes on Rustic White bread. That was out so I am trying it on Sourdough. It's delicious! A vanilla cinnamon roll is for dessert. Yummy! Always a peaceful place where I enjoy late lunches-early dinners."

"The food was SO GOOD. There was one person working in the front, taking orders, serving, taking payments, but it wasn't crowded and we were seated right away. The ambiance is nothing to write home about, we saw quite a few people picking up to-go orders, but I HIGHLY recommend dining in because they serve you the food while it's still cooking in the cast iron bowls. The food was piping hot and flavorful, they had to roll everything out on a dolly because there were so many accompanying sides like kimchi and pickled cucumbers to add. The portions were generous and you could tell the food was made with love. The rice at the bottom was a little crispy because it continues to cook while you eat...perfection."

"It was super tasting food and large portions for a fair price. Phad Thai made w tamarind not ketchup like others in Olympia. Just take off, but they let us eat at the table with our boxes. I have a purple rice pudding. Huge part, delicious. Also the hot and spicy large noodles were good. Curry was great. Chicken was very humid and delicate. Looks like it was pulled by a whole roasted chicken. Phad Thai was excellent. I'll eat again."

"A classic, nostalgic Japanese eatery! Been going here since the 90s and make sure to visit at least once when coming back to Oly to visit. Great lunch specials and their teriyaki chicken is amaze-balls! This location is the best IMHO (followed by the Happy T on Pacific Ave)"
