"Came here on a surprise visit for our second anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed a tasting menu with wine pairing. Every course was an absolute feast for the senses and the owner himself described the meal in all its particulars. An absolute delight from start to finish. I wish I had more stomachs to have done the meal more justice!"

"The food wasn’t bad. But the service totally lacked Japanese spirit. We were puzzled why they stacked upside down chairs on the counter. It felt like they are closed or closing down. The bento box and bibimbap tasted fine. But the miso soup was a joke. We’ve never seen miso soup so plain basically just hot water with a bit miso flavor. For decades all miso soups we’ve had elsewhere had tofu and green onions. Before we finished our meal, they served the bill to us already, and came back shortly to see if we have paid. Never seen such attitude of impatience at any restaurant."

"Love this place!! I take my family here all the time. The kids eat free, the food is good, place is clean, bathrooms are immaculate, which shows they care about their customers (not that we go to a restaurant for the bathroom). The service is GOLD! You can feed your whole family here quickly and without breaking the bank."

"I like the atmosphere. Very loud on a Saturday evening. The portions were small. I had the cod. It was delicious, but small. After dinner we sat outside by the fireplace. Very cozy and relaxing."
