Amazing selection and friendly staff. Good prices and nice shopping environment as well. The only thing is that for such a large, comprehensive store, there was only one register so I had to wait a while to pay. There were plenty of staff members in the store unoccupied. View all feedback.
What Rachel Dowd doesn't like about Spirit World:
Great selection, med high prices since at Aksarben. I joined their reward program and never got any rewards after repeated purchases. I like that you can try a sample at bar if open, but they were out of one I wanted to try. One employee seemed to be showing pricier versions. Deli was great in past, much reduced now, but I haven't tried in awhile because not easy to get service. View all feedback.
Great selection and very helpful staff. I was greeted right as I entered the store and was helped with finding some new wines and whiskey to try. I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to wine and nicer whiskey so it was great to have some expert opinions.
Excellent shop! Was able to grab some Booker’s last time I was in, which isn’t always the easiest to find. Friendly staff too. Will definitely stop by when I’m in Omaha.
They have a fantastic variety of products very many limited items and for what I found with a really hard to get scotches thank you very much I appreciate Your store it is fantastic
Spirit World used to be a place I frequented. However, I had gone one day for snacks and wine with a friend they kept my credit card to open a tab. When we were ready to leave, I asked to close my tab and they couldn’t find my credit card. I waited for over 20 minutes while they looked for it but didn’t find it. I paid with a different card and was promised I would get a call first thing in the morning after the cleaning crew had been there (thinking maybe they would find it). I waited until after 12pm the next day and had to call a total of 3 times to speak to someone that’s when I found out they gave my card to someone else (who luckily returned it), and they had charged that customer’s bill to my card. I had to drive back to the store (I live in west Omaha so a bit of a drive for me). When I got there, I checked my credit card online and they hadn’t reversed the other customer’s charges. When I asked them to do so, I had to argue and explain why I wasn’t paying for both my tab and a stranger’s tab. I wasn’t offered any type of apology or compensation whatsoever. It wasn’t until I brought up that it was a PCI compliance violation that they gave me a $25 gift card.
I really appreciate having this store in omaha. it is a go to for presents for friends, they are knowledgable about drinks i have never tried. I like that I can buy beer by the can and not just the whole pack. The bar inside is also a fun place to meet with friends after the farmers market.
