"My daughter I go to Canes in Opelousas, Louisiana all the time, we always have a nice time! The atmosphere there is great! Good chicken...but I especially love their bread, their cole slaw to go with my chicken tenders! I only wish we had a Raising Canes Restaurant in Eunice, Louisiana!"

"I travel across Louisiana a lot. This restaurant is one reason to take hwy 190 instead of i10. For 10 yrs this has been my fav stop within the region. Flavors have always been consistent along with quality service. Many great options including shrimp and burgers. Seasoning on fries is legit at times kind of lacking which disappoints. Parking is tight, but manageable. Dual drive thru was perfect upgrade. Speed of service is fine even with jampacked line of cars. Area is safe imho. Roads surrounding are terrible though. Opelousas roads are quite terrible."

"Had lunch yesterday at the Crawfish House Grill, tucked away in a little strip shopping center almost across the street from Sonic, on Union Street in Opelousas, LA. This has to be Opelousas' best kept secret, but what a wonderful hidden gem! This was not my first time there, but it has recently changed ownership and it had been some time since I had been in that area at the right time to stop in for a bite. We were cheerfully greeted when we walked in the door and quickly led to a booth. Service was prompt, and in no time at all it seemed we had our drinks, and it didn't take long for our fried alligator appetizer to arrive. It was the most tender and tastiest fried alligator I've ever had, bar none!! The menu has a wonderful variety of meal choices and it does not disappoint! I glanced around at the other tables and found myself wanting to try everything because it all looked so good and everyone was enjoying their food. That in and of itself spoke volumes to me, and I knew I would be happy with my meal. I was beyond happy! After our meal, our waitress gave us an impressive list of desserts and we decided to go with the bread pudding with pecan praline sauce. It was amazing!!! Do yourself a favor and stop in at the Crawfish House Grill and be prepared to leave with a very full tummy and a smile on your face. They do not skimp on food quantity or quality! Can't wait to go back!!!"
