"We heard about this place in conversation and it didn't disappoint. Honestly, I love steak and this place had one of the best I've ever had. The service in this place saved our short restaurant experience in Bavaria. There was finally an English menu and our waitress was wonderful. We got there around 5:30 and by the time we left the place was packed. Make sure you have a reservation if you plan on going after 6:00. Also, the apple fritters are simply heavenly! Highly recommended Bavarian gem!"

"We visited this place for dinner with our friends and it is one of the best places I have visited. More than food the experience was great. Sitting in Austria having dinner and looking at Germany and Switzerland at a distance with lake of Konstanz below is one of the best experiences.Food is mainly German/Austrian cuisine. We tried the Käsespätzle and Wiener Schnitzel. It was not great but not bad either.I would recommend this place for at least for the experience it offers."

"My daughter and I decided to try the Alte Post one evening. We did not book and the restaurant was busy but luckily a table just became free and we were seated. The staff were friendly and efficient with prompt service for both orders and...delivering the food to the table. We both chose the Entrecôte steak with a pepper sauce and both arrived perfectly cooked to our order requirements. There was plenty of pepper sauce also. This was our last night in Germany and very pleased that the meal was very good."
