Mr Lim's was recommended to us by a local and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Booking is advisable on Fridays and Saturdays. We could sit at the bar, which is not as bad as it sounds. Decor is stylish and service was friendly. We took the 'let Jacky feed you for $55' option. It is not cheap, but the dishes were beautifully presented and well prepared. What User doesn't like about Mr Lim:
Mr Lim's has great atmosphere but the Korean food was okay but not great. One duck dish and one dumpling dish were very nice, other dishes were ordinary. Nothing was bad but it was not great either. The menu lacked - with no Korean BBQ dishes, two duck dishes, which tasted much the same. We did not have the crab or fish so perhaps we chose poorly! Have you ever been to a restaurant that specialises in both Chinese and Korean cuisine? Well Mr.
A giant oyster, dim sums, drunken duck, Korean chicken, roasted pork and shredded beef. All up a nice selection and filling enough. We tend to prefer tea with most Asian food and their tea is absolutely top quality, as well as beautifully presented in special Korean tea cups.A very nice evening out, enhanced by a Mr Lim himself who chats with the guests.
Lovely meal for our big group. Only suggestion is to offer some items suited for younger palettes who want to try flavours without the chilli. The fried rice was delicious but too hot for the kids.

The busy vibrant atmosphere may suit, but some will find it noisy, and the flames in the kitchen distracting - we enjoyed.Good points - busy vibrant atmosphere, good wait staff.Bad points - generally ordinary foodReason to return - prawn and scallop dumplings,
Dinner at Mr Lim last night with our family was a great time! Food top class - dumplings, Pork Sang Chow Bow Sammy style the best! Korean chicken, steak, fried rice - all excellent. Great choice of local wines to choose from to accompany the meal. Service was prompt - only feedback we'd give is the dishes could have come out a little slower between courses to be able to enjoy each one before the next. Then the karaoke! This was something we didn't expect but what great fun! Sammy has the personality (& a great voice) to get you involved & not feel self-conscious. We had a blast & was the last thing we expected to finish the night. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Book & go eat some of the best Asian food around (better than big city restaurants offering the same - trust us!)
