Occasionally we find ourselves off the beaten path and Millthorpe was our destination today.
Among a few good looking choices in Millthorpe we picked this place, nice looking cosy atmosphereIt was a busy time and food choices limited.
Millthorpe is a very pretty village not far from Orange and worthy of a visit.

"I love the decor and the styling, but we were seated near the coffee bar where the bright lights of the restrooms were and we felt tucked away from the nice atmosphere of the whole restaurant. Our waitress didn't give us enough time to sit down before launching into the whole 'share plates' system and she didn't draw breath for 5 minutes! A lot to take in and felt a little bit intense. We were told the waiters would say if we'd ordered too much food for two, but I don't think they did. We ordered the duck, lamb and two vegetable sides... waaay tooo much! Food was lovely but we felt too full by the end = no room for doughnuts."

"Visiting Orange for 4 day and have come back 3 days in a row. That's how good the pastries and pies are! The beef bourguignon pie and seasonal tart (strawberry and pistachio) were impeccable!"

"Union Bank is outstanding. Seriously excellent setting with beautiful heritage buildings and mature trees in the well kept courtyard. Quality menu for both food (exceptional, unusual, delicious) and wine (local selections particularly well considered). Lovely overall, the best in the region and would be 5-stars in the capitals too. "The Korean restaurant is quite inconceivable and presents a series of authentic Korean cuisine. great ambiente and interior design with an excellent Korean menu. very friendly service that was prompt and attentive. the food was fresh and tasty, and the prices were very...reasonable a very pleasant eating experience. highly recommended."

"Great to have a place that serves all vegan dishes. This could be the best and safest choice in orange. Chinese Buddhist vegetarians do exactly what it says on the can. You can also go there to enjoy a wide range of teas. A good selection of dishes inspired by various kitchens from Taiwan and China, done in a vegan way. Not everything comes as a plate of food swimming in the watery gondola, but many things do. That said the Goop is pretty delicious. How is the type of Chinese home cooking, you get a good balanced meal by ordering various dishes, as usually you do not get a complete mix of vegetables and protein on a dish.
