By far the BEST smoked fish...prices for salmon are high, that's salmon, but the best smoked fish hands down...shared it with several guides in the area, steelhead and charter, all said the same, never had better...took them 10lbs to smoke for me at 6$ a lb...I catch them, you smoke them for that price... GREAT deal.. View all feedback.
What Mark H doesn't like about The Village Smokehouse:
I bought a dry aged strip and a ribeye. It's tough for me to even put into words how bad they were. I have never tasted meat like this before. So good.I got high quality yet affordable Beef Jerky. The Horseradish one was my favorite.
The Village Smokehouse is a hidden gem in Orchard Park. All of their fresh fish is top quality. And, so many unique pleasures. I love their homemade zucchini relish and put it on everything.
Awesome friendly people in there! Good smoked meats and a good selection of non smoked meats.
The store was small,, unkempt, little choice in product 3 types of beef jerky flavour is all that they had with no other meat/game as jerky. They did have smoked fish but the salmon didn't look to fresh and I wasn't sold on how well preserved the salmon was and was not wasting 21 dollars a pound on a filet of salmon that had seen better days.
