What McLain N likes about Captain's Choice Fish House:
One of my favorite places for good seafood and great service in Coos Bay. The halibut and chips were beyond excellent and reasonably priced compared to other places in the area. The clam chowder was delicious. And the fries, which are usually an afterthought, were excellent. The service was the highlight. The wait staff are highly attentive and so friendly. We came in the evening of September 17,2022 for the last time unless things change. I really hate to do this and it took me a couple of weeks to write this. I was really wanting fish&chips tonight but ended up settling on Chinese food instead. Really good chowder and fish
Our go-to favorite for seafood. Prices are reasonable and service is always fantastic. Very good chowder made with cream, not tapioca weirdness.
