"Went here since it's right next to the Champlain Waterfront Hotel where we stayed. It's run down looking inside and the servers aren't attentive at all. Asked our waitress what the difference was between their 3 curry dishes she had no idea what to say. She just said one is spicier than the other and the third option was the same!? Made no sense. When our order arrived, we realised they probably use premade sauces for their dishes so they have no idea what ingredients are in them. The only veggies in all their dishes are carrots and broccoli! No authentic Asian veg like green onions, bean sprouts, or mushrooms! Tasted nice but they need help with service and updating the restaurant."

"Love the decor! Stopped in here for breakfast on my day off work. Staff was very accommodating and quick. The only thing missing was their roller skates! But I can understand why they no longer where roller skates, I wouldn’t want my food spilled on the floor! Lol. The decor was very good and bright. The atmosphere is upbeat and good food. I didn’t get a picture of my breakfast as I was so in love with the decor of this place! I’d stop back here again after I’m done visiting all the other wonderful localities."

"Absolutely outstanding. Been there many times. It’s where my son just proposed to his future wife! The menu is creative beyond compare; none of the usual fare here. Crab poutine, yup; bison ribs, oh yeah on one visit anyway. The menu changes often. Their espresso is among the best I've had. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The staff are REAL, affable, they really know the menu and creative wine list. Classy but casual, exquisite food and not one tiny bit of pretense anywhere in sight!"

"I was sooooo hungry. Ordered food and brought it home. I ordered calamari....... I opened that first started eating it. Not 10min later I was violently ill!! AND I MEAN VIOLENTLY! it was so horrible I thought I was going to die!The place looked a bit sketchy, maybe I should have just stuck to fried rice and egg rolls!!"

"We are moving in the area very soon, just walking distance to this place. When we came to visit our future home, we decided to stop over here and have dinner before heading back to the GTAA. My husband ordered the poutine and he says it’s pretty good! Better than most poutines he’s had in Toronto (and we are from Montreal originally so we are very picky with our poutine). I ordered the ribs and it is pretty good! I love their cornbread as well! Downfall is that there isn’t much of a dine in. There’s only one table inside. But outside, you can sit on the picnic tables! So it’s a nice spot for summer! But for winter, you’d have to do take out for sure. I can’t wait to move to the neighborhood and I’ll definitely come back and try other things on their menu."

"We are always on the hunt for a great burger and veggie burger place (not as easy as one might think). Kensington had us both leaving with smiles on our faces and the determination to return - soon! The burger was cooked beautifully (pink) and the meat was of the highest quality. The veggie burger (black bean & quinoa) was simply outstanding according to my partner. The fries were thin and crisp and served with aoli (although I would have preferred a little bit longer cooking). All in all, just a shade under perfect!"
