The food was great. I ordered the szechwan shrimp. It was so tasty and really filling. Portions were enough at good prices. Great atmosphere and nice hometown setting. The service was non-intrusive but they always knew when I would need something like a water refill. I will definitely come back when in the area. What m b doesn't like about Szechwan:
Disappointing! Szechwan food is supposed to be spicy, but their food was just basic Chinese food. Nothing special. Looks like this Szechwan restaurant has a Cantonese chef or they just Americanized their food too much. View all feedback.

My favorite mandarin food in the east bay! Very dedicated to Orinda with a loyal following!Best Hot and Sour soup I have ever had! House made pot stickers are epic! Salute to the family at Szechwan well done. Blair
Good food and friendly service, generous portions and reasonable prices.Ordered Hot and Sour Soup Wonton Soup, Beef Broccoli, Shrimp with Snow Peas, Mapao Tofu, Hong Kong pan fried noodles all were tasty.Will definitely return!
