"On my mother in law 's 96th birthday we spent two nights at the Albergo Residenziale Menhirs., 2 km far from Putzu Idu. On the way back home we planned to visit Cabras a small village near Oristano to visit the local museum and its Monte Prama Giants and secondly to have lunch at the Camminetto. Reading reviews, comments from people, and kind advise from the Menhirs ' lady owner .suggested us to go and taste il Camminetto 's temptations. Our starters were gratin mussels, octopus salad, skate burrida stewed tomato sauce with chopped almonds and nuts), grey mullets 'eggs, gratin mussels, tomato sauce musky octopus, salmom carpaccio, seafood salad. as first course we three had a hot and tasty seafood rice. To finish we had three desserts: a Catalan custard cake, a lemon sorbet, and a seada a large semolina dumpling usually between 8 and 10 cm in diameter) with a filling of soured Pecorino cheese and lemon peel in olive oil, served covered with honey, sugar and, a seada large fried semolina dumpling usually between 8 and 10 cm in diameter) with a filling of soured Pecorino cheese and lemon peel in olive oil; it is usually served covered with honey, and a sprinkling of dry orange peel.
