on the search for an open restaurant in oristano we found the ristorante da salvatore in a next street. a real lucky handle. we were very nicely received and felt good. the map offers a good selection of Sardinian specialties and of course many dishes with fish and seafood, e.g. the Sardinian caviar, fresh musk and fregola. everything we tried was freshly prepared and very well tasted. very fair value for money. There was a language barrier so things didn’t get off to a good start, fault on both sides, of course, but hubby was given the starter meant for a lone diner elsewhere in the restaurant. It was whisked away after he had had a few mouthfuls, tarted up and given to the poor chap. The waitress intimated she was having a bad day.
