We had each a main course and a...dessert. We drank a cold cider to our meal. I had a JaneA and it was great. If you have the chance to go there take the chance! View all feedback.
What Sara Carrasco doesn't like about Jane A.:
I don't know what kind of problem they had with us. Maybe because we brought our children, or maybe because we are not French, or we did not dress up properly in the eyes of the arrogant lady (probably the owner) who first ignored us...when we walked in (it's a very small restaurant, so not possible not to say hello when for people walk in). Great crêperie! crêpes and cakes are excellent as well as their cider. the bosses are very pleasant, the atmosphere and the decoration of the place change from what we already see in the city. prices very correct
Really excellent crepes as sweet as the salts. nice and pleasant. The bosses are attentive and listening. reasonable price.
I arrived around 930pm but they still allowed me to eat. Great service, quick and very tasty. The crêpes are fantastic! With my limited French vocabulary we still managed to understand each other. Great little find!
In a quiet little street in the centre of Orleans, this crêperie does not attract the eye at first. but inside, everything contributes to conviviality: small room, jane posters birkin and serge gainsbourg, warm welcome and sophie smile. the cakes made by the boss are very well garnished and tasty. The "jane a." is particularly successful: the st jacco shells are golden to the point, the mushrooms are cremated just as it is necessary and the two slices of bacon placed on the cake are well grilled and crisp. A real treat. the goat cheese cake, generously served, with tapnade, honey and Provence herbs makes happy. for dessert, the black chocolate cake, well filled with garliced almonds and pieces of nuts conquered us. all was accompanied by raw cider or sauvignon. the value-for-price ratio is also to be noted. products are fresh and come from regional producers. a quality pledge. To make us wait, a Breton kir accompanied by chips was offered to us. a delicate attention. Certainly, we will return to this place in a future orleans passage. Reservation is essential.
During a one-day stop in Orleans, we discovered this very charming little crêperie! the reception was really exceptional, the setting is very pleasant, and the dishes were excellent! We will certainly return to it if we are again passing!
