What Emma likes about The Kicking Donkey:
Very pleasantly surprised… great roast and full plate too. Deserts also very good, as was service… only thing we didn’t like was the red cabbage, heard the ladies next door (local) asked for it not on their plate as chef adds star anise… I love red cabbage but I think looking at customer plates, she/he should review as this isn’t liked by everyone. Loved it here although it us a little on the expensive side. Though only negative was the seafood linguine which was very nice put the fennel in it was very overpowering which took away the taste of other flavours in it. read more.

"Really impressed with this place! Restaurant looks beautiful. Portions were bigger than expected I ordered an early Bird menu, with one starter and one main and couldn't finish all the food. But also food was super delicious! Meat was super tender and juicy and everything just tasted lovely."
