"Everytime I go here I get a parfait, devour it in 5 or 10 minutes and spend the rest of the day wondering if I will every feel hungry again. If you have one of these at noon it probably won't be until around 9-10pm that you crave food once more. This isn't a complaint. It's kind of a feature. If you like feeling agonizingly full. But they have a large menu so if youre not into that just get a scoop or two of their other offerings. But if you want decadent, have a parfait. It offers all the trappings of chain ice cream parlors except richer, more flavorful and more filling. So yeah, I like Giffords."

"The black bean burger is SO GOOD. I usually get an “acita” style with grilled pineapple, Koleslaw, Bbq sauce and black bean patty. The sweet potato fries are also ingenious and generally this is a relaxed place to eat with good vibes. You also have impossibility burgers so you actually have two vegan options that are beautiful."

"The food was amazing. We have eaten there twice and both times everything we had was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The dinning room is fairly small and cozy, and the staff is friendly. "Older pub feel with heavy beer and delicious food right in the city. the best prices for the quality of the food I had found in bangor. big server we had when the place was jammed. the whole beer list was crisp and refreshing. the cheese shorts avocado frits and Hungarian mushroom soup were so much more appetizing than I expected. the paddle melt was delicious and the house made chips were the perfect side. I had the Butternus Quark salad and the grilled chix was perfectly a little crispy, but still juicy cooked! 5/5 would come back next time absolutely I am by bangor for the work."
