"I typically never eat in hotel restaurants. They tend to be terrible, empty, overpriced and lacking atmosphere. I am staying at the hotel Luz and this is their restaurant. I was too tired to go out and it's a Monday night so many restaurants are closed. What a pleasant surprise. The menu is innovative. The service is excellent. The restaurant was attractive and busy. Food and wine was great. Very accommodating wrt allergies"

"Stayed in Oropesa for a few days and didn't miss one night at Gelateria Fiorentina. Oropesa really diserved such a place with excellent Italian Gelato, Espresso Coffee and excellent breakfast (pastry and more). Their Pan Tumac is excellent. The location is also perfect near the Playa de la Concha in a little crossroad street that gets pleasantly windy at night especially in hot summer nights. The owners will definitely make you feel welcomed."
