The cafeteria has a limited but sufficient menu with local products. You can eat in a cozy environment and the staff will reserve a table for you while you are waiting for your food. Avoid the busiest times to wait too long in the line to avoid. Very friendly staff. View all feedback.
What Marcel Girard doesn't like about La taverne du Haut-Koenigsbourg:
the place is pleasant but the organization is lamentable. A service, a type of cafeteria, at a time of average height, is equivalent to 1/2 hour waiting standing in a narrow passage. While people seem to not know what to do, only one person provides the service!!!! View all feedback.
A good surprise with a copyful but not great genius plates. allows to restore at less costs
A very good point of restoration! Onion pie and apple pie, a slaughter! The cute frame! The nice dishes! the perfect value/price ratio. but above all the adorable service!! Thank you very much, we don't meet so nice people all the days!
There is not only the original frame, there is also what you can have on your plate. Today, the medieval dish was a deer civet with ancient vegetables served on a grilled bread plate. The expression "fine your plate" takes all its meaning. As far as I'm concerned, I didn't succeed.
Completely overwhelmed personal, it would have taken at least 45 minutes to have our quiche and our plate of charcuterie. If not good products, the nice but expensive framework for what it was.
Pleasant and unusual place with simple, correct food with very helpful and smiling employees. However, a map from a more minimalist and absence of medieval dishes in the low season. We chose this restaurant only for the medieval side of disappointment food but the beauty of the high-Koenigsburg has mitigated frustration
