What Katherine A likes about 40 Sky Lounge:
We ordered Chitarra Pasta with Grilled Lobster Tail, Yaki-Soba, Iced Americano and Hot Choco. All perfect for the rainy weather. The pasta is creamy and rich in seafood and not salty and highly recommended. Yaki-Soba tasted like takoyaki. It was kind of weird at first, but ended up loving it. For the drinks, nothing special at all. The relaxing view, the food and the service made me love the experience here. View all feedback.

Hideously expensive drinks, but you can just get the lift up and mill around in the lobby and no one will chuck you out, and that’s worth doing for the view (both of the city and into how the rich live) View all feedback.

Excellent view about Osaka and also great cocktails. Come directly after sunset, so you have a chance without reservation.

"People flock to Mizuno so we are thankful that we lined up for just about 20 minutes. The kind female staff takes orders from people waiting in line. Be decisive since orders are locked in once placed with her (read: no extra orders allowed when seated inside already). If you’re seated at the 7-seater counter on the first floor, you might find yourself gawking at the beautiful eyes (and chest hair) of the kitchen staff while he makes your okonomiyaki in front of you. I see the point why Mizuno got the nod of Michelin for seven straight years after tasting their okonomiyaki. However, as a matter of personal preference, I have had better okonomiyaki in three other restaurants. You should go check out Mizuno and see for yourself if it makes it to your most memorable restaurants in Osaka."

"We were excited to eat here, since they had great reviews and high reviews on trip advisor. We were quickly let down though with our first dish that came out “nachos”. Quite a bit of green sauce that just seeped into the chips, making everything mushy. Salads came out and were different; not bad just excessive sauce.. then our main dish of the Mexican plate came out with 2 tortillas and rice that were cold to the touch. At the end; we feel that there was so much sauce that it was drowning out the bland flavors. Personally I wouldn’t come back; and this is a classic case of cat fished by the trip advisor. Often spots like these kill the taste buds and opt for quantity over quality, and this is perhaps what happened here."
