The Elixir-k - Osaka

My spouse and I went on a Sunday night at 7pm and were the only people there. The space is quiet and small, with a bar that seats 6 to 8(? and an additional lounge we didn't see. It was cozy and comfortable, with liquor bottles lined up in a row running down the length of the bar (there was no place else to put them, we assumed . The bartender had a presumably encyclopedic knowledge of cocktails and was delighted to make recommendations to us as we traveled Japan (my 1st time visiting . The drinks we had were classics (boulevardier and bijou and were meticulously prepared with Japanese spirits and fine glassware. Would definitely return again.

A kind of Jack of all Trades Bar with Master is great in the innovation of simple classics, but also amazing to produce some crazy good wine bottles. Below is a sweet, tiny bar, but above is a wine salon. Choose according to interest and curiosity. You'll be well served.

A real jewel hidden in Umeda. The bar employees were really sincere in their service and passion for their crafts. Sampled amazing gins and whisky all well done and with care. The staff respects both whisky and people. Note, this is a whisky bar and the Gin branch is located nearby.. I was interested in getting to her Gin Bar Juniper but it was full of time. Because of this the staff ran over and picked up some gins to get back to the test for us! Excellent service about what is expected from hospitality where I was. These guys are amazing! Very recommended

Takuya took care of us when we asked to choose a whiskey for us. We arrived early on Saturday at 20h and it was quiet and very peaceful. Perfect to communicate with whoever you are. Later he showed us the copy of the Whiskey Advocate Summer 2019, where he was interviewed. Very extraordinary experience to be here the same day, his interview was published.

Great cocktails. The bartender kotaro and Kawasaki are really amazing. Geniune, friendly staff. Sister Bar to Bar Juniper. Amazing gin and whisky range.
