"A big “thank you” to Scott, Luc and staff called in to help at the last minute when everyone who had lost electricity due to the ice storm flooded in to Bubba and Bugs for a coffee/tea and breakfast bite. They handled this influx of stressed people with professionalism and good humour. Well done. And as usual the Bacon Eggies were awesome."

"I walked in around 5 p.m. and non of the two girls bothered to leave their phones down for 2 seconds to say hello, the one that “helped” us was not welcoming at all, didn’t greet us, never smiled and once I was ready to...pay and pulled out my credit card she said “Only cash or debit” and that’s all she said. I ordered an iced americano and she gave me a regular one, which is not a big deal but If you add that to her rudeness it gets kind of annoying, now, I’m just talking about the girl with sone sort of highlights or braids, she’s the one with no interest in even acknowledging customers unless you’re a regular; I saw the other one and she seemed to be quite nice and polite to customers unlike her coworker. On the other hand I have to say the pastries we had were just perfect, they were fresh and flavorful, also the coffee was pretty good; in general I would say just go there to get whatever you’re craving and leave as soon as you get it."

"Plenty of parking, drive through is always quick. Fast and friendly service. What more can I say. Their breakfast is amazing also. I asked for extra onions once and the guy gave me half an onion lol. Thank you."

"Pelican, which was recommended to us by locals, is an unprepossessing place in an unprepossessing suburban mall. The meal we had was fabulous, however: calamari, a green salad and mussels in a white wine and cream sauce. Perfect with a glass of sauvignon blanc. The prices are very reasonable; the service was very good. We'll try to come here again the next time we visit Ottawa."

"Amazing eating! we went to a late dinner and the terrace was nice! great ambiente, live music, fire pit and really nice atmosphere. I got the strip in yorkshire and it was amazing. portions are large. gravy tasty!"

"The smoked meat is unreal. Best sandwichs around for sure and the poutine is incredible, honestly smoked meat aside they are my new poutine spot !"
