"This is a good pita place, fast and friendly. My daughter likes mild to no spice so they let her try the rice first just in case. She liked it.We got a chicken and rice special and a chicken shawarma pita. Both were good and sizable.One thing to keep in mind they will ask you if you want hummus and garlic sauce, these are not included, they are .75 cents each extra, so for the two items that's $3 extra.For the 2 items plus one bottle of Pure Life water and tip $32.65. So a little pricey.Overall, a well run place to get some good food fast.JamesVegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian options."

"Very nice French restaurant, brasserie like, with affordable prices and now a prix fixe menu. Good quality. The home-made pâté we tried there last time was amazing! If you want to practice your French that's the place to go. The owner family will always chit chat for a while with every customer. Nice atmosphere."

"I had the opportunity to eat here recently. It was disappointing to say the least. I ordered the guacamole, it was served in a cut half-board storage container? It was tasteless and the presentation was even worse! Guacamole recipe, mashed avocado, fenced sowed tomatoes, fenced white onion, healthy pinch sea salt, white pepper and a generous squeeze of lime! Should a Mexican restaurant not know the simplicity of a decent guacamole? It was accompanied by chips, the similar cardboard, hard, not spiced and a teaspoon of red sauce No salsa! The clinic here is that they charge $13,50 for the guacamole! Of course I'm not a fan of The Lonestar, the quality of their food is best bad, but their chips and salsa are second to none! Mexico Lindo was also our way, years ago it was much better than now!! If Guacamole is a challenge, how do you prepare Mole? Water was also served in plastic cups, no ice or straw? Definitely will not return."

"To write this review, made me feel contradictory, on the one hand I want to tell everyone about this great restaurant called The Brock House, but on the other hand I want to keep this jewel a secret for me. But let us really be, it would be impossible to keep this place a secret, especially when you look at the growing food scene in the region of Durham, it was just a matter of time until this shooting star made its way into the spotlight. What's the food? Its pretty good, the roasted Calamari is crispy and well seasoned, the Brisket sandwich is generously packed and the pizzas are fantastically occupied and stuffed. This only covers what we have ordered, there is a ton more to choose and I look forward to trying the other items in the menu. What about the service? Excellent, we sat and served quickly. The staff was attentive and ensured satisfaction. If you find yourself in the area, you should definitely pass. Good food at great prices."

"Had their jerk burger and 2lb wings. Smithwicks on tap. The beer was just a little off somehow...not quite sure what it was, but tasted a little sour and just a bit flat. I suspect they haven't been cleaning their draft lines as often as they should. A well-run pub (and this one claims to be a best of British style pub) should make very sure they clean the lines regularly. Disappointing!The burger was good, the fries that came with it were very good! Delicious. The wings were also good, but we were disappointed in the portion size. 2lbs of wings turned out to be only 13 wings. They were fairly big, but somehow I suspect we didn't really get a full 2lb. A bit stingy on the dipping sauce too. Also, many other places will either include fries with their wings, or at least offer fries with them for just a dollar more. Here, you have to pay $5 for an order of fries if you want them along with your wings. The waitress was OK. Nothing special, not particularly attentive or friendly, but fine enough. The washrooms were very clean.So, overall we were happy enough with the taste of the food, but not very happy with their portions or pricing. Not at all happy with their draft beer."
