Island Cuisine was a great experience from the moment I placed my order over the phone. Customer service is excellent and welcoming. I ordered her oxtail, stew chicken and steamed fish that were made to order. All were very good, but the damped fish I was pleasantly surprised. The fish was fresh, slightly seasoned and tasteful! I recommend this place when you are in the region of Durham. View all feedback.

I know inflation is out of hand right now but $19.20 including tax is too much for a regular goat curry with rice and peas and coleslaw. To be fair food was alright but not worth the price. Will not be going back. View all feedback.

"Found this place after a random pasta craving and looking for local places. Found a jewel here, huge portions for the price and amazing pasta and sauce. Many combos to try the pictures are my meals the last times I ordered, and both times my bf saw her menu after eating decide what he wants to try next. Will definitely recommend friends and family!"

"This is a good pita place, fast and friendly. My daughter likes mild to no spice so they let her try the rice first just in case. She liked it.We got a chicken and rice special and a chicken shawarma pita. "I've been in the mood for Brunch for weeks. This place was perfect. I called in the morning after reservations and fortunately they had room. We had to be in and out within 50 minutes because we had planned a movie. I told the staff and they could take us. But we came ready and knew what to order when we arrived. The staff is nice and friendly. The place is super cool with the art and great ambience. The food was just extremely delicious! I had the eggs Benedict Mega. Every bite was simply exquisite. I had to put my fork down so I could enjoy the food full, it was so good I got super excited lol! Salad with homemade dressing was definitely worth the upgrade. Hubby had the FART meal, he said it was good. I had some of his pumpkin bread of French toast and it was to die. I can't wait to come back and have more of the food! The experience was great, I'm so glad I found these local restaurants :"
