I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the restaurant. We visited last weekend on December 2nd and were disappointed to learn that the menu hadn’t been updated yet. Many of the dishes we were hoping for were unavailable, leaving us with only items like sandwiches and bagels. What User doesn't like about Planet Perk In The Grind:
Based on my first experience here, it was way overpriced. I paid about $16 for a sandwich (with no sides) and a smaller-than-expected smoothie. The chicken pesto sandwich was good, but $9.50 without even including a side is way too high. Are we in Chicago or Oshkosh? The environment is so warm and cozy. Very nice place to go to study, read a book, or catch up with great friends. I'm never disappointed with the service and the owners are great!
Stephanie and Forrest are so much fun to start the day with, and the rose hips and peppermint tea with honey is fantastic for warming me up. Ken is doing great things here, as always.
