Stumbled across this great spot randomly with my son on a quick trip to Osnabrück. What a lucky break. Marvelously attentive staff, fantastic Gilde beer, cold glasses and stunning food (and tons of it). After a long day of travelling and sight seeing this was like cold water to a thirsty man! What unickque doesn't like about Marktschaenke:
We had lunch on a sunday afternoon. The place was mostly empty. The staff seemed fine with that and was relaxing with a drink on their own terrace. My gf had a garnelenpfanne, which was the special. This was quite good. I had the entenbrustsalat, this was really not good. It was a bunch of salad, all of which had brown edges and some of which was deteriorating into green mush.
