"This is an awesome place to stop and enjoy a break when driving in Hawkes Bay. The El Fresco dining is great, covered or uncovered, fantastic views of the surrounding rolling hill farm land, very good coffee and a wide selection of cabinet or menu food on offer. Also has a great little selection of local articles for sale, from handmade place mates to trinket bowls and earings. Really recommend this as a must stop while in HB."

"Hi folks went here for lunch on Saturday 31 July after we had been to the butchers. I had the beef nachos and they were absolutely AWESOME. We were greeted at the door with the most friendliest dog ever the staff were also very friendly and welcoming. If your after a nice place to go for a drink and or food I'd recommend Skinny Mulligans. Keep up the great work and see you next time."

"Didn’t see any savoury options for a vegan diet so bought some fries. They tasted like month old beef burger oil and could not finish. Coffee was fine. Cafe smelt of grease and was filled with children. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I think if you want a big breakfast or a heavily meat based meal, or you needed somewhere to bring kids then this place is probably great. Big decking and playground out the back which seemed popular. ——————— Revisited: Ordered vege salad and found a chunk of bacon in it probably accidental cross contamination but at least use a different spoon for each salad? Coffee was again the best part of the visit. Zero vegan options again and I’m not sure there was even a vege hot lunch option."
