We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Dona Esther. A thoughtfully and beautifully put together hotel with restaurant. Conveniently situated in the heart of the town. The food in the restaurant was divine. A wonderful menu to choose from and very generous portions. Breakfast was included and again, a pleasure. Beds comfortable and nice hot showers with good pressure. What Roxana L doesn't like about Doña Esther Árbol De Montalvo:
A small, traditional hotel in the centre of Otavalo. The rooms are dated and not a 4 star quality. It is also extremely cold in them, as no heating available (we had the rooftop small appartement which comes with a fireplace luckily). But it is a tradional atmosphere, the rooftop terrace is very nice and good quality towels and bedding. The restaurant is very good and the service very friendly. It is a nice base for...
