"This place is truly a gift from heaven! let's start with the fact that it's in the middle of the jungle and you get to have a private beach! The rooms to stay overnight are gorgeous and overlook the whole club. The staff is super friendly and is always around to bring drinks or whatever you need. The Seaweed gets cleaned every day and throughout the day so that's a HUGE plus! sadly not much anyone can do with that but the BEACH is still incredible and so worth getting a little peace of heaven for a couple of hours. They also have a dinner menu now and had a chance to try it and man it was delicious. Highly recommend this place for foodies, heaven seekers and EVERYONE!"

"The food is excellent and very fresh. You can either eat on the beach or in the restaurant. They have excellent waiters Rod in particular. Their prices are very reasonable. They own a friendly dog Nala who will come and sit under your table. She does not beg. Is excellent at retrieving coconuts if you throw them in the water. "My wife, grandson and I ate at DiVino's last evening. We ate around 9:15pm, so open for business later if you need to know. It is located one block up from the Malecon. Turn away from the water at the Dive Doctor (always well lit even at night) proceed through the archway and turn left when you hit the street. It is the first door on your left (it slides - don't try to force it as I did, it only served to prove my clumsiness setting my wife into paroxysms of laughter).That aside the beer was cold, - the menu offered in both Spanish and English was easy to read (but would have been easier with either a flashlight or just more lighting - I am a senior and the eyes have gone thither).Once the frosted beer bottles were safely ensconced in our hands, we ordered. We selected a bruschetta served on toasted garlic bread and heaped with Calamari. Which we half enjoyed (more here also later).My wife selected a Margherita pizza which was pronounced as too large for her and after a bite (but more later - do not be discouraged here) she basically tendered it to the hunger furnace of our 20 year-old grandson.Our grandson selected the vegetarian pasta, served in a red sauce which he basically inhaled. Inhaled of course because he now had 3/4 of a pizza to attack next. This he munched through leaving 3 slices. While he thought the pizza ight have been a "bit oily", he enjoyed it nevertheless. Stating unhesitatingly that it was very tasty despite the liberal application of olive oil.My selection was pasta carbonara and there portion was adequate, overall quite good. Not too much just enough to fill the gap left post lunch.Then entered two young ladies, friends of our grandson who has spent the last several months becoming a Master Diver. Cavalier as he is want to be, he quickly invited them to join us, spending a couple of minutes before dashing off to finish his shift at a local Dive shop (Guess which one - yeah he's the very tall one there with the long hair.).So here we are, my wife, myself and the 2 young ladies, staring at one another and getting acquainted across the almost 50 year age gap. What could we do? Remember the remaining pizza slices and the bruschetta? You got it, we offered, they accepted (as appetizers as they were ordering their own pizza and wine), they daintily partook, pinkies extended, and then we left, after paying the very reasonable bill.Overall an enjoyable, reasonably priced dinner in a pleasant location that also provides a clean establishment and perfectly adequate fare."
