"We stopped at Peccato di Vino for lunch on a recent visit to Otranto and we're glad that we did. They serve traditional dishes in a way that (after eating out night after night) you wish they would be served. The ingredients are local and fresh. The meal is well-curated from the complimentary prosecco and amuse bouche to the outstanding antipasto of octopus, eggplant and fennel to the delicious mains. Their version of the traditional ciceri e tria adds mussels and was really a treat. The pasta with squid and a pistacchio pesto was similarly wonderful. The wine list had a number of nice matches for the meal. This is definitely well worth a stop whether you are staying in Otranto or simply visiting for the day."

"The staff behind the counter (man with beard) is very unaware and rude. I think they should change their management philosophy and how to treat customers... Basically we customers pay you salaries! This is often forgotten... Just because you have a terrace overlooking the sea doesn't mean you can behave like God on earth! I'd rather go somewhere else, and I'm listening to education and respect. ."
