This place offers an alternate genuine shopping experience in the land of coffee shops in the Beechwood area. This place has the strongest sense of community of all the java houses. What an incredibly disappointing experience. The staff is poorly trained and have no knowledge of the products they are selling. My boyfriend, who is Middle Eastern, was more helpful to a customer than the boy serving her was. They also refused to add cheese to my meat pie even though cheese is listed as an add-on on their menu. Anyone from Ottawa knows you can have cheese on a meat pie. The pies were also terrible.....
