The food, especially the perogies, is delicious and caters to plant-based patrons. The arcade games can be a hit or miss, with some out of order, but the all-you-can-play option is a great deal. The atmosphere is fun and loud, with a quirky charm that includes a Mr. Robot vibe and Star Trek references on the menu. Overall, House of Targ is a must-visit spot for those looking for a unique and entertaining night out with friends.
Great pierogies. Friendly staff. All-you-can-play Saturdays and Sundays. They will let you bring in a cake for birthday celebrations.
The House of Targ combines everything I love in a dive and then some. Arcade games, a bar... and perogies? Yes, perogies. And live music. All sorts of crazy, weird and wonder music. This place deserves a visit
Took our kids (aged 11 through 13) to this place. They loved the old school arcades and pinball machines. We will definitely be back to play and try their famous perogies.2nd visit we brought not only the boys. We brought our 16 year old daughter. Once again we had a blast.
We love House of TARG. The food and drinks are great and the venue is very memorable. They have a great selection of pinball machines and classic arcade game cabinets. My only complaint is that some of the older games don't work and/or eat your coins (we tried to play 4 players on Ninja Turtles but it ate our quarters and only 2 of us could play). Pierogies were amazing!
Not bad, as there are so few arcades left. I was expecting a bit more though. The classic console stations were a really nice bonus. Unfortunately several of the pinball games were out-of-order. Going on the all-you-can-play Sunday was a far better deal than pay-per-play. Games that are highly dependent on audio (like Guitar Hero) were inaudible and therefore mostly unplayable with the overwhelming din of the place.
