What doctorjuice likes about Island Grill Restaurant:
We have order from Island Grill for years. It is always good! We order the Roti recently and we were left wondering, if they have new owners, as the taste was off and the hot sauce was like fire! It looked like it was added staight out of the bottle on the bottom of the roti bread. It did not make for a good roti. We had to scape the hot sauce off to make it bearable. What Shattla doesn't like about Island Grill Restaurant:
I've been eating authentic jamaican food for my entire life and I gotta say I was pretty disappointed. The rice peas didn't have any hints of coconut at all and the j chicken was flavorless.The fried plantain was great and made well and so was the oxtail. I was really hoping to find some good jamaican food here in Ottawa but it seems I'll have to go back to Toronto to really get my fix. read more.
