We looked on TripAdvisor for something close by, and Pookie came up. I love Pad Thai, and my wife can usually find some soup on any menu. The decor is really clean and modern and the lighting is great. I ordered the Pad Thai, which gladly could be cooked without cilantro. The same cannot be said for the vermicelli soup. What User doesn't like about Pookies Thai Restaurant:
We ordered Thoong Tong and they were fried until the dry Ans had a slight taste of burn. The yellow curry was okay, but don't expect much. The green curry was just fine, you could say that the chicken was added... just last minute it had no time to really maceration. Will not order from there again. View all feedback.
Pookie's is a lovely little restaurant in a strip plaza in Ottawa West. Pookie does all the cooking herself, and it's delicious, authentic Thai food.
