"Honored by friendly waitress / host (owner)? who will give us all the needs and even in a few extras (surprises) free of charge! if they want to eat cozy, hearty Eastern European food, this is quality and oh young the quantity! in any case bang for their buck hopefully this place does not go out of the business for how generous they are! as nice ambiente as when I was transported directly to Europe! on Sunday evening we were the only ones in the restaurant, so it was timely and the glasses were always filled."

"We hadn't eaten here for some years and were a bit disappointed. Either our memories are failing, or the food used to be better. Either way is possible. My lady had a shrimp pho with only three or four shrimp, but more noodles than she could finish. (Our very friendly server did reduce the bill when she complained). I had a rather uninspired pad thai which I guess had been toned down for Western tastes. The place was not full, but fairly busy so service, while good, was a bit slow. The server was very good, and the décor pleasing. Parking is not exceptional but there is some. There are better Thai places not too far away."

"This pizza shop has always been a go-to for me. I used to go to the Byward market location, but since moving to Westboro I’m thrilled that there’s another location even closer to home!The pizza is tasty, and as a vegan the options are certainly above-average. There are even several vegan dipping sauces!We’re lucky to have such a great local gourmet pizza chain in Ottawa!"

"Entirely satisfying dessert. A pleasant change from gelato and ice cream, both of which are readily available in Ottawa and sometimes have a little less character than this frozen custard. I have not had frozen custard in decades; this version was firm, with good texture in the mouth on first taste and yet pleasantly smooth as the melt began. In fact, I usually like to savour gelato...but this frozen custard in a cone did not last long. I devoured it and wondered soon after what had happened; it was that good. A nice discovery during West Fest."
