"Stopped by here when driving through town and glad I did. I got the brisket and pork and the both were very tender I could cut the brisket with the plastic fork. Beans were really good as well. All of the workers were also very friendly. If I'm ever close to hear again I'll be back for sure."

"There's a constant flow of traffic in the drive thru, the employees are quick, very polite and they really keep that line moving. There were 4 cars ahead of me I was still out in less than 10 minutes, and the order was hot perfect! Great place to grab a good meal."

"Had the Hotel Hasch. It had hashbrowns with severity and eggs upstairs with bacon. The food was very good and my breakfast was nice and warm. Came in time and the service was good. The first time there and will be good again. If you stop a good breakfast and good atmosphere and try it out."

"We had a good meal tonight and a good service when my son suddenly got sick in our meal (NOT from the food). The staff was so friendly and compassionate to us. They cleaned the toilet room so I could check for my son, checked us several times in the toilet room, brought him a glass of water and got a cool cloth to put my sons in the face. They even allowed us to leave the side door so that we could raise the car directly at the door. They didn't have to be so nice, but they did. We appreciate the great service. We will definitely go back and tell everyone about their great treatment of our son. Thank you to Appleebees Ottumwa staff! Job well done!"
