"Great little cafe, fab service, delicious milkshakes. Actually my only complaint is about the owner manager, who came in to the bar area where the waitress was making our milkshakes and told her rudely to hurry up, before she saw there was a customer (my husband) standing there. We were the first customers of about 5 couples who arrived in quick succession, and the owner manager expected this one poor waitress to take care of everyone. It's not hard to take care of 5 tables of course, but not when they all arrive within 5 minutes of each other, and you are busy making drinks. Only when she noticed my husband, who was waiting for our takeaway order, did she decide to help and take menus to the other tables herself. I couldn't believe it, felt very sorry for the waitress!"

"A local joint with locals having a good time, party atmosphere but it was a Friday night Staff were nice and friendly and draught was cold! We took away our salad and pizza as we were quite tired from the day but overall quite pleasant and food was tasty. Certainly would come back if in Oudtshoorn."

"We had such a great experience at the diner! Excellent service! Excellent food! Excellent prices! I ate the Smoked Chicken creamy pasta. It was soooo good and I was so sad that I couldn't finish everything because the plate was super big!! My partner had the double Hawaiian Chicken Burger. We had a lovely room with 4 single beds. A nice spacious bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. There is a kettle and a mini fridge."

"It was amazing! Being surrounded by nature and listening to the river through the night was absolute bliss. Breakfast is charged at R145 per person and is a breakfast buffet or if you do what we do and have booked with it a bonus. It's really good food with a fantastic view. We were in Tent 2, complete with a bathroom and shower, air conditioning, heating, additional ceilings and a deck overlooking the river and the cow field. There are outdoors, ponies and hiking trails for those who want to explore and you can do bass fishing. You have to do that! I wish we had booked a whole week."
