A pleasant surprise the discovery of this restaurant. The €15 Executive menu is a real success. Various flavors and a very interesting culinary suggestion. The incredible cause of Lima, but the fish rice of 10: I am not a dessert, but I must admit that it was also delicious. The large treatment and dining tables have a plug to load the phone, a detail that is appreciated. Definitely a place to return and see what joy... View all feedback.
One of the best restaurants in Oviedo. Great lunch menu when you visit Oviedo
Great food, excellent service, beautiful ambience and good value for money!
Without a doubt, an incredible place, a varied menu where the specialty is the rice they are preparing at the moment. I tried two, one with shrimps and the other with shells and squid, both spectacular. The patatas bravas are from the usual but they are just delicious. The Calamari very fresh and crispy. I have eaten tartars like in very few places and certainly not as close to home. The service is very attentive. Market kitchen with an exotic touch. To finish the homemade desserts and a very aromatic coffee. Without a doubt, we repeat as a family or as a couple a place to go.

I had the great luck of enjoying an unforgettable Christmas meal with my family at L'Alquimista. A very complete, varied and exquisite menu. Both in its presentation and in its quality. Perfect portions to get to the main course and fantastic attention from the dining room team. A €30 menu that far exceeded our expectations. The quality Iberian hams gave way to patatas bravas with a presentation I had never seen before but maintaining the classic flavor and perfect potato cooking. Then came a prawn Dim Sum totally unknown to me, I am not a friend of oriental food and yet, it was one of the best dishes I could taste after trying it with some mistrust, the aroma it gave off and its good appearance did not disappoint. Then a scrambled eggs with Iberian secret, mushrooms and truffles, which without being my favorite dish was ideal to prepare for the main course, a suckling lamb with potato parmentier which is undoubtedly the best lamb I have tasted in many years, and it says so a Segovian who has tasted, and not infrequently, lambs and suckling pigs in Cándido and Jose María. There was also arroz del señoret, which the chef embroidered honoring his Valencian roots. The dessert was incredible, nothing dense and it made digestion easier, making me forget about that typical feeling of Christmas meals where you end up fattened and with a heavy stomach until the next day. We had to ask to meet the chef, Carlos Ruiz, to congratulate him on such a great job. And it is one of the few times that we have done something like this, like putting a review, but it deserves it. I hope that the people of Oviedo know how to recognize the value not only of the chef, but also of the remarkable work team that he has and know how to see beyond traditional Asturian cuisine. This restaurant deserves a chance. In my case, I will return when I visit Asturias for sure.
