"I dined at DS for the first time last night and had the perfect experience! We were greeted kindly by hosts and promptly sat, water was immediately served and our server Jason, was kind, knowledgeable and made great recommendations! We loved the atmosphere as well, romantic lighting, artistic vibe, cozy! We had two fantastic Old Fashions, delicious soup, an amazing charcuterie spread per our server and the chef’s recommendations. The Braised Beef Cheeks will melt in your mouth and the Bread pudding was divine! 10/10 would recommend everything about this place and I’m looking forward to returning!"

"Really great spot for some really great chicken. Hush puppies are fantastic, and the southern side of me loves fried tomatoes. Don't know if I can't justify a $13 price tag for one big tomato and some batter to fry in, but they will most certainly hit the spot if you're looking for comfort food.Only ever had one bad experience at Champys; my most recent visit. There were only four of us but somehow all four orders were completely wrong. In our waitress's defense, she was training someone and was dealing with a 15 top next to us. Having been in the industry for some time myself, I can relate to the chaos she must have been experiencing. However, she didn't write our orders down, and I can't help but feel like we wouldn't have had the wrong food brought out if she had. It always irks me when wait staff doesn't bother writing down orders for future reference. Especially when the food comes out wrong.All that said, I'm still giving the place 5 stars because I e NEVER had a bad experience prior to that, the wait staff is ALWAYS awesome and kind, and the food is phenomenal. Will definitely be back."
