What User doesn't like about The Castle, Oxford:
Steak Fritas.. Disappointing. Basically a large bowl full of very oily chips...with a steak on top. Any peppercorn sauce is lost in the bowl... Not great. Our server was lovely and very apologetic. Food and ambience didn't match expectations based on prev reviews. read more.

"Visited this cafe just by chance looking for somewhere for a warm drink to get out of the rain with our dog 'The Bear '. Was welcomed in and guided to a table downstairs. So t be fooled with the view from outside. There 's loads of space indoors. Brilliant service and made such a fuss of our choccy Lab. Ordered 2 teas and a banana split. Wow what a desert, big enough for the two of us and a jar of sausage bits for The Bear... would defo recommend.end and will return next tome we are in the area... Well.done team.."
