What User likes about The Trout:
A large pub that sits by the River and gained fame as a backdrop to many a Morse episode. Initially had my doubts as the table assigned us seemed too high and chairs too low. Also the latter were incredibly heavy and hard to move. But we survived and the service was swift and polite. The King Prawn started was tasty if the prawns were a little less than kingly. What User doesn't like about The Trout:
Terrible roast, lack of vegetables, pack sword, no cracking joke of the pig. I ate the normal menu before and it was ok. Wouldn't come back on Sunday though. Very disappointed. View all feedback.
Deliciously presented. waiter good, but short staff overall somewhat too bright loud environment
Excellent Sunday Roast Understaffed had to wait to be served at the bar for some time, but the staff there was really nice. Great location with ample parking
