I saw this Restaurant on face book. It had family combos takeout for$29.95 that would feed 4 people and $49.95 that would feed from 6-8 people. I ordered sausage, meatballs, pasta and salad for $29.95. Another dish of crispy chicken cutlets, pasta and salad. for $29.95 .I also ordered Chicken parmigiana, pasta and salad for $49,95. What Bob J doesn't like about El Compadre:
Was glad to hear the Café al Dente reopened up in Oyster Bay. The former establishment on Spring Street was very good. Unfortunately, this new one is not up to the former. Service was adequate at best and the food so-so. The polenta appetizer was over-fried and very dry. Salads were better, but the main courses disappointed. The Pork Marsala for example had no hit of marsala wine and was made using canned mushrooms.... read more.

A visit to El Compadre is particularly valuable due to the large diversity of coffee and tea specialties, You can also unwind at the bar with a cool beer or other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
