I don't know what the fuzz is about this place. It's pretty much on the beach and it's a brewery, which are probably the only added values. No need to come here for the food! It's hard to get a table here and they even sent us away the first night, two hours before closing because they said their wait-list was more than 2 hours long. We saw maybe 20 people waiting and about a third of the tables were empty. They're s... View all feedback.
A bit of a wait to get in here but well worth it as everything our table had was delicious! Great selection of brews. Our favorites were Tsunami Stout and Cape Crasher IPA. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was set up nicely to accommodate a safe environment.
My wife and I are visiting the Coastline of Oregon and decided to stop by this restaurant for dinner. The weather was rainy and the small town seemed quite empty, not a lot of movement. As we entered, there were a few people dining for such a nice size restaurant. We ordered Mac n Cheese with layered brisket and half of BBQ chicken with mash potatoes. As an appetizer, we had asked for the calamari and to our astonishment, the food was quite tasty! The staff, servers, etc were very polite and respectful and I would like every customer service to be. Though it was super dark outside, you can hear the waves crashing in the shore which is a very cool sound to hear. I highly recommend others to visit this place if ever in the area.
Outstanding place to eat for a bite while on an ice cold beer. And you can also not surpass the view from the rear deck. Really beautiful. We had lunch with three of my friends on a Wed, and we still had about an hour waiting for a table, although it was a weekday, but it wasn't too horrible considering that they took off your phone number and give you a call when your table is ready. So you are not forced to wait in the restaurant itself all the time. So we were free to strip around. I had the Spicy Burger who made my mouthwater, it was so delicious, and the Beak Breaker Double IPA, which I really enjoyed as it was super Hoppy that I personally love. A total of 5 out of 5. Will definitely return at my next visit to Pacific City.
The service was good. And really delicious craft root beer. But there were few seafood options (I am not a fan of cod), so I asked if I could have a Lachsburger instead of a regular burger. After checking with the kitchen, the server placed the order for me. She didn't think to come back and tell me that I would not only charge the $20 for the burger (which I didn't offer the chance to take home) I would charge another $10 for the little piece of salmon on the bungalow. So I paid $30 for a delicious but not worth it Lachsburger. We're not back. I guess this place is very popular because of the location and proximity to the beach, or maybe it's the alcohol. In addition to the overpriced food, the parking situation is also a problem without clear signs or parking validation. The large parking lot on the right side of the restaurant costs $10 for daily use, so I would recommend skipping this. But the parking lot right in front of the restaurant is packed and has very small rooms. It's a challenging situation for someone who doesn't drive an economy car to fit into the room without risking you denying doors. Big part on my fries, but not on my husband who had the fish and chips. He liked his food and the bunch of pommes I added to him. decent experience to the end, but we were having a bad taste in our mouth when we saw the inflated review. Desserts are $11, ouch!
Excellent place for lunch with even better views! This place is quite popular, so expect a wait when you arrive at the weekend. The view can't really be beaten if the weather allowed, I would sit very back outside. We have the bbq Burger and Clam Chowder, the Burger was incredible, some of the best pommes I've ever had. I would skip the Clam-Chowder the next time. Overall, I would recover this place very well!
