What Halie Thompson doesn't like about Alberto's (pacific Grove):
Very limited menu and the wine list was a good one but expensive and they did not have 3 of the bottles we had chosen. I used to go there years ago when I lived in Pacific Grove and it was always good! Now, it has changed the food is too limited. However, I had the Eggplant Parmesan and it was very good. "The tacos are delicious: beautiful flavors. Always a hit. The one miss: the Churro Chimichanga no flavor. My worry was itd be too sweet/ sugary, but it was bland. Doesn't taste like a churro at all. Very disappointed"

"My wife and I went to Fandango as their reviews were very high from Open Table. I ordered scallops and pasta $58) which was their special for the night and had very favorable commentaries from the reviews. My wife ordered chicken picata with beans. The scallops and pasta were soaked with butter and the beans were soggy and mushy. They used the same beans for the chicken picata and they were just as soggy and mushy. Will definitely not go there anymore."

"Wow! What a fantastic dinner. Had the special salad with cantaloupe, feta, walnuts and figs great taste. The lobster ravioli was the best I ever had. Finished with a homemade Cannoli light as a feather and filled with creamy delicacies. A five-star experience! We'll be back."
