"Follow up review: despite a disappointing experience in the restaurant as noted below, Mike (owner) had sent us a follow up message to apologise and offered for damage control. To which, we really appreciate.<br>

My expectation for good restaurant would entails good food, lovely atmosphere, and thoughtful service. This Farmhouse is a very small restaurant, with only one long table available for everyone to share. Not much privacy. Jazz and candle helped with the atmosphere. <br>

At booking, I was told there will be candle prepared for birthday man. Not only they completely forgot, but when I mentioned to them in the end, no signs of genuine sorry was seen, it was a "oh I am sorry, it is $144 please". Terrible service. <br>

Entry was really lovely, main course was large, tasted ok, lots of fish bone, small but still quite unpleasant, and dessert was creative, can't say it was good.<br>

Overall, will never come back here for another celebration or anything."

"The milk bun with bacon and egg was incredible. The bun was so light it was really just a vector for ingesting yummy bacon and egg and the mayo had a nice heat and just added to the whole experience. Coffee was delicious. I love the way they used the wall opposite in the alleyway for street art and then repeated the motif on the pillar inside the bar area."

"I thoroughly tested a baptismal Italian restaurants before the choice of vino e cucina. parking is limited, but if you are happy to go, you will finally find a place. during the booking it was very strict about late, minimum remuneration, cancellation fee. the place was 1/4 filled all the time we were there when that. they allowed 1 std. 45min seats. pizza was good. we thought the burratina was with burrata foccacia, but like a pizza. atmosphere and aesthetics were great and her special cocktail was also good. the mains took 40min (2 ragu pasta). this allowed us to eat just 15 minutes after their sitting times. obviously it wasn't worth waiting, it was so gland. I'm still in the refrigerator. I am not Italian, but I have made gnocchi that was tastier, let alone a few parpadelle pasta. I was likely to be 100 Italian restaurants in my life including 4 cities in italy. very disappointing and for a $42 court! definitiw better place in sydney for pasta. the bill was also nearly $200 for 2 ppl. 2 stars is very generous."
