What H doesn't like about Fishermans Table:
Steak was cooked to perfection. Garlic bread was disappointing. Service was pretty good! Nothing in the all you can eat salad bar appealed to me or my son, the rest of our table enoyed it though. "Had first date night with hubby in a long time here last Saturday. The service by Eddy was flawless. Chef Helens food was inventive and delicious. Thank you for taking us to a culinary journey. We did the 9 course degustation and it was all delicious. I described it to friends as 5 star 5 minutes away. We think it takes so much guys to open a place like this in the area and they do it so well. Good luck to you guys and we will always support you. Keep up the high standard! Can't recommend this place enough and can't think of any place that even comes in close to comparison."

"Stayed for one night. Check in time said 2pm we were greeted with locked doors and no one to check us in. Had to call the number for assistance, others gathered and waited only to be checked in by the CLEANER. She was great. Rooms were alright ok, parking around back was odd."

"My family and I came in for brunch (group of 10) and ordered a variety of meals many coming with poached eggs.. the food looked amazing coming out, only issue is our eggs were all over cooked.. we informed the lovely staff on that day to which they quickly took care of the situation and emerged not even 10 minutes later with 12 perfectly poached replacement eggs with an edible flower next to them as a nice touch.. The food was yum! And having fully redeemed themselves with the eggs, we were so happy with our experience we returned the next day with 3 more friends joining us! Again a big group to cook for and all our meals were delicious, and the coffee was great too!! I must mention Kiri our waitress too, we had her on both days and this girl deserves a pay rise! Her service was outstanding, friendly, welcoming and efficient, she anticipated and took care of our every need.. lovely lovely girl.. Thank you Long beach for your hospitality. We will be back. x"

"This place has been my go-to Indian restaurant in Upper Hutt since I moved here. I always ordered takeaways but decided to dine in this time. Ordered prawn masala like usual but received saag instead. Told the lady it wasn't what I ordered, but she was quite insistent that I was wrong and she was right. It was embarrassing and disappointing experience."
