"We love this place and the food they serve, especially the country chicken curry, naan bread and onion pakoras. What we find different with Kumars' compared to other restaurant is the homely ambience, service and taste. When we were living in Thames we used to have food, in kumars, once in a week, but since we moved to Auckland we visit them whenever possible. Awesome place to be."

"Nice local bar for a hearty meal. We had Dixie chicken and Guinness hot pot. The food was ok. The kids meals were great value though! We also played pool afterwards for a while which was nice."

"Absolutely out of this world food with flavors and sauces that more than compliment the different dishes that I have ordered recently, can't wait to sample the whole menu..Truly mouth watering dishes to be had there and the customer service there is definitely more than a 5 star rating in my book..this will be my local Thai food fix from now on"

"Best meat on chips I've had in New Zealand. Had mixed meat and both were moist and plentiful, salads fresh and tasty too. Wife had chicken on rice and same results for her and my 2 year old. Spotless restaurant. Friendly lady who made our dinner. You will not be disappointed Kid-friendliness: Even a kid menu Service: Dine in"
