What User doesn't like about Sgaia's Vegan Mheat:
since then is flour and water, and every year it is imaginative. it costs pennies and is so easy to make yourself! in a müllkoch and can make great tasting since. would love to see this wonderful versatile product honestly represented, and not ridiculously overpriced/overpacked. View all feedback.

It's almost as pleasant watching people queue for their food indicating the popularity as it stuffing one of their sandwiches into my own face. They've only been on the vegan scene for a year and I can't remember when their food wasn't around. They seem to be at every vegan stall going on in the UK and when they're not they're creating vegan Egs (like replicas which ooze a yellow yolk type liquid, not yellow powder in a bag), and meatfree products which are delicious in their own right not necessarily replacing meat. Today at Dundee's first ever vegan festival I tried one of their burgers, which was moist and tasty. No fancy bun needed, just a regular roll and some salad on top. I'm excited to see what they come up with for Vegfest Scotland in a couple of weeks. Updated from previous review on 2016-11-20
These lovely Italian people became fed up with constant bad weather in Italy so decided to pack their bags and move to sunny Scotland. A hard working pair producing a variety of vegan mheat, never standing still(maybe on some market days when they have sold out) and experimenting with new ideas have been a breath of fresh air on the Vegan/veggie scene in Scotland. Italian passion mixed with a non stop work ethos has seen them grow and improve constantly. From burgers to bacon, spack to a hot chilli steak these peeps with sort you out for your plant based diet. if you love a meat alternative, you will love mheat.
Sgaia pronounced sga-ee-ah' is a word in Venetian dialect to describe someone who is cheerful, animated and positive. This sums up the lovely Hilary Alberto the brains behind these incredible products. I have never really felt the need to eat meat-like things, simply because I love veggies pulses so much, so when I first saw Sgaia back in Dec 2015 at The Flying Duck I wasn't desperate to try the products. However, after sampling some of the products they had to offer, I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. So whether you're looking for bacon for a breakfast roll or steak for a romantic dinner, Sgaia has it all.
