City: Puerto del Rosario (near Pájara), Carretera General FV-20, 35611, Puerto del Rosario, Spain
"Small rural hotel finca just on the outskirts of the village. Menu is in Spanish only but staff are friendly and helpful. We had starters of goats cheese and marinated salmon. Both excellent. Followed by a pork dish and slow cooked beef cheek. Excellent. Overall lovely ambiance and authentic flavours. Only about 15 minutes from Puerto del Rosario. Great value and well worth the short trip to get away from the usual tourist fare."

"Excellent. from bread to dessert, all very good. food based on the local and typical Canarian product. the spectacular goat meat, the very good cured cheese cake and cheese with figs jam and maracuya. Well, if you're going to be a betancuria, run away from all the restaurants in the trap for the pigs and don't miss the bag."

"The high occupancy, we went on a friend's recommendation. We ask for half of fried cheese, fried cochino (spectacular), kid and Iberian secret. the homemade wet, who accompanies the bread, very rich. Hand-cut fries are a plus point. However, the attention was not the best. Three people on the terrace and we were waiting between the incoming and the first and a half plate. but then they apologized and invited us to shots and a half of fried cheese. a detail!"

"Given its location, that is, slap bang on the beach and with no competition they would not have to try too hard to be packed out every day. In fact, we had some excellent squid and octopus plus the ubiquitous canary style potatoes. Despite it’s...informal setting it is in fact a very well organised operation with prompt service but which remembers to smile. Very good."
