What Jazzumbo likes about Amari Pizzeria:
Nobody should leave Sicily without tasting the local bitter liquors called ”amari”. The very kind bartender helped us to experience a lovely amari tasting session. We have started with Averna, a bitter liquor with dry fruits notes (including prunes), nuts, cinnamon and herbs. I have also tasted Zedda Piras, a fragrant bitter from Sardinia, prepared from local wild myrtle berries. No matter where are you going to dine... View all feedback. What PaminTasmania doesn't like about Amari Pizzeria:
Having been virtually accosted in the street by wait staff, we decided we may as well eat here as anywhere else. The food was fine but the wait staff were pushy to the point of aggressiveness, and despite repeated questioning about the price of a bottle of wine we were deliberately misled and treated with contempt when we queried the cost at the end of the meal. I can’t recommend eating here. View all feedback.
