Spencer's - Palm Springs

Was sooo good highly recommend everything was so good nothing to over priced and literally get what you pay and the service was so good .

This is such a lovely setting, and nice to have heaters that did their job! Our food was wonderful! I had Scotch Egg Benedict, with scotch salmon, not scotch egg! Nicely poached and great flavor, with a bountiful side of fresh fruit. Yummy English muffins. Husband had the Corned Beef Hash, which i will have next time, because it was the perfect combo of small diced corned beef and potatoes crisped beautifully. All eggs poached nicely. Good coffee and cappuccino. The four stars is because our waiter was uninterested in us after taking our order, and we had to go find him after waiting for our check. Great to have valet parking.

We have heard good things about Spencer 's and finally got a chance to try it last night. It 's kind of off the beaten path from downtown Palm Springs. There 's some street parking in and around the restaurant but worst case there 's cheap valet parking. Once inside, the ambiance is amazing. We were told to sit outside under the big tree and so glad we did. The weather was perfect and the setting was beautiful. Highly recommend sitting outside. The menu offered many different food options as well as a great cocktail and wine list. The dressed up Manhattan was excellent. They serve yummy rolls while waiting for dinner. We started by splitting the apple walnut salad which was excellent. We both wound up having steak for the main. The steak was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. For dessert we split the carrot cake which was delicious. The service was excellent as well. From the host, to the bus boy, to the waiter, we were well taken care of. We will definitely be back to Spencer 's!

This is my favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. The first time I visited was a year ago and I was very impressed with everything. Tonight was my second visit and I was absolutely blown away. The service and food were just top notch. I had the calamari appetizer which was good, but the duck entree was outstanding. I just loved the cherries and dates that came with the duck, adding to a touch of fruity sweetness to the poultry. It's just perfect in my opinion. Even better was the extremely gracious and timely service that we received. Their entire team from our excellent server, Daniel, to the bus boys and food runners worked like a well oiled machine. It was impressive how they handled special requests with our party of 8 with all nods and smiles of acknowledgment, and it was all greatly appreciated. We sat in the patio and there are plenty of heaters to keep the area warm on chilly evenings. The light from the propane heater flames and the landscape lights make the outdoor space really lovely, inviting and intimate. One thing is certain, whenever we come to PSP, which is every year, we will be back.

Nice, chill environment. Not very loud, and dim lights which we enjoyed. Our waiter was very nice, offered us the specials for the day and also recommended us the desserts. I ordered the carrot cake since it's my fav dessert. The main course was a fair amount of food, I ordered steak, and it was delicious. The waiting time was fair. They also offer valet parking which was nice.
